This 1990s Franco Moschino sleeveless blue silk dress features one of Franco Moschino's favorite design objects - the butterfly! The collar of this dress is uniquely designed to resemble butterfly wings with its black lace outline, green, red and blue spots and black tie that resembles antennae.   

Moschino was a huge fan of iconography and long before emojis, he used them throughout his designs. He particularly loved to use hearts, peace signs, Italian references, exclamation marks, cows, Popeye, Olive Oyl, Lucky symbols, and butterflies!
